Shifts: 8am-4:30pm EST; On Call required every 3 weeks
Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Home Health assignment in Shelby County, TN. This is a travel role that involves assessing and supporting the health maintenance and disease prevention needs of individuals in the community or small facility settings. The successful candidate will also manage care plans and may supervise other staff members.

- Working closely with other health professionals/providers to address health needs
- Coordinating communications and actions of various disciplines related to health and safety supports
- Managing medication-related tasks including ordering, reviewing, and disposal
- Ensuring progress reports are made to the physician when client conditions change
- Transcribing or ensuring transcription of physician phone orders
- Completing necessary nursing documentation
- Maintaining cleanliness and disease prevention standards
- Directing and supervising licensed practical/vocational nurses as needed
- Ensuring health-related appointments are scheduled, completed, and responded to
- Providing training for new employees and annual recertification
- Training unlicensed staff on person-specific health issues
- Registered Nurse License (willing to accept compact license)
- Experience with OASIS, HCHB, and Home Health
- BLS certification
- T step TB test
- Wound competency preferred (wound class offered if needed)
