Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Work Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:40 PM, Monday-Friday
School Year: August 18, 2026 – June 4, 2027
A school district in Melrose Park, Illinois is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time position offers the opportunity to support students in developing the skills needed for academic success and independence within the school environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
Caseload
- Caseload and school assignment currently under review.
- Additional details will be discussed during the interview process.
Qualifications
- Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license.
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Education
- Master's or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
