Over the last 10+ years, Ellevation Education has built a thriving business serving the administrators, teachers, and specialists who support English Learners at public schools across the U.S. Today, nearly 2,000 school districts use our software to manage their EL programs. The Account Manager plays a critical role in renewing and expanding partnerships with existingcustomers while ensuring educators maximize the value of Ellevation to support EnglishLanguage Learners. In this role, you will monitor district and educator engagement, driveproduct adoption, and identify opportunities to strengthen and grow the partnerships youmanage. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build trusted relationshipswith district leaders, foster long-term customer success, and deliver an exceptional customerexperience. By increasing district adoption and expanding existing partnerships, you will directlycontribute to company revenue goals. Most importantly, you will help thousands of educatorsleverage a solution that empowers them to better support multilingual learners and improvestudent outcomes.

This position supports the West sales region, must live in California. Travel is a
requirement of this position, up to 30%.

Within 1 month, you will:

• Onboard and learn about Ellevation and the work we do to improve outcomes for EL students.

• Gain an understanding of our products, their value, and how to technically demo to partners.

• Review our sales playbook and pricing structure.

• Learn your assigned territory and develop a strategic territory plan.

• Become familiar with our business systems and sales enablement tools.

Within 3 months, you will:

• Become proficient and able to independently present all Ellevation products to external audiences.

• Collaborate with your regional team to understand your territories' education policy, pricing nuances, and instructional initiatives.

• Worked with the Partner Success team on engagement strategy for states and districts.

• Introduced yourself to all of your assigned accounts and began conducting demos, renewal calls, and other engagement meetings.

• Independently tracked all sales activity in Salesforce and utilized other business systems.

• Represent Ellevation in the field at conferences.

Within 6 months, you will:

• Effectively closed renewal contracts.

• Efficiently managed and grew your sales pipeline of up-sell opportunities.

• Become an expert in your territory on value proposition, policy, and product applications.

• Collaborate with the Partner Development Manager, Partner Development

• Associate, and Partner Success Manager to engage your region.

• Independently visit partners in the field for upsells and relationship building

Within 12 months, you will:

• Met or exceeded your sales quota for the year.

• Build deep relationships with stakeholders in your key districts.

• Synthesize and share insights from the field with relevant internal teams in service of product feedback and competitive intelligence.

About You:

• Created an ongoing pipeline to support your sales goals.

• Shared insights and helped shape sales strategy with sales leadership.

• 2+ years of experience successfully selling to the K-12 market;

• Experience and knowledge of the ELL landscape;

• Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to maintain 100+ partner accounts across territory.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with audiences of all levels;

• Ability to succeed in a competitive selling environment.

• Travel requirements: Up to 50% with seasonal peaks

• Strong technical proficiency and ability navigate complex software tools.

• Experience with SalesForce and or other CRM

$75,000 - $95,000 a year

Ellevation is transparent about its approach to pay which includes a competitive base salary, annual performance-based raise, and bonus (or commission for sales positions). The base salary range for this role is $75,000 - $95,000, and the budgeted target is the midpoint. In addition there is a sales commission plan in place, that ranges from $50,000 - $75,000 depending on quota attainment.
