Microsoft Office 365 License Management SME

Location: Remote on EST Duration: 6+ months to long term

Job description: We are seeking an individual who is a subject matter expert in Microsoft Office 365 license management. The individual should know how to optimize user experience while managing licensing costs and be able to drive improvements in the license management process. Having the ability to analyze data and a working knowledge of Power BI report development would also be desired.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Office 365 license management infrastructure including optimization of costs, process automations, user experience, analysis and reporting
• Identify and implement ways to improve the current processes used to manage licenses
• Find opportunities where licenses can be reclaimed or reassigned
• Partner with engineering teams for designing, testing, and implementing enhancements
• Partner with communication teams for creating comms and campaigns related to license management
• Partner with our key stakeholders in each sector and region to understand their user's specific needs
• Support end user incidents related to the service
• Analyze incident trends and recommend solutions
• Ensure design & configuration documentation is up to date
• Improve Power BI reports used to manage licenses
• Support the creation of automations using applications such as Microsoft Power Automate & Powerapps

Desired Qualifications

• Expert in Microsoft Office 365 and license management: 5+ years
• Experience with user end user experience
• Experience with Active Directory and Azure
• Experience with PowerShell, PowerShell Workflow and troubleshooting PowerShell
• Client Power BI report development, modeling and DAX
• Knowledge of SQL for data analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel in aggregating, summarizing and presenting data
• Knowledgeable in at least one programming language for data analysis (e.g. Python, R)
