Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and create individualized therapy strategies to help them reach their functional goals

Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ research-based methodologies to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily activities

Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, holistic care

Educate Patients and Caregivers: Guide patients and their families on therapeutic techniques that promote continued progress

Monitor Progress and Adapt Treatment: Keep track of clinical advancements and modify care strategies as necessary to keep patients on track

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Ongoing education or postgraduate certifications are encouraged and fostered

Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license

NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required

A genuine commitment to helping others achieve independence and improved well-being

Strong, empathetic communication skills with both patients and colleagues
