Job Title Accounting Clerk Pay Rate $22.00 - $26.00/hour (based on experience) Schedule Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (4-day workweek) Contract-to-Hire Contract-to-Hire Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team. This position will support daily accounting operations with a focus on accounts payable, general clerical accounting tasks, and some payroll assistance. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and comfortable handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Process accounts payable invoices, verify coding, and prepare payments Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies Assist with billing, accounts receivable, and general accounting support as needed Support payroll processing Maintain accurate financial files, records, and documentation Assist with month-end closing tasks and reporting Provide general administrative support to the accounting department Qualifications Previous experience in accounts payable, accounting clerk, bookkeeping, or similar role preferred Basic payroll knowledge or experience assisting with payroll processes Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/payroll software Why Join Us?
