Direct Investment (DI) Finance Manager (M4)

The Air Dominance Finance Organization has an immediate opening for a Direct Investment (DI) Finance Manager (M4) within the Air Dominance Portfolio. This Business Manager role will have ownership of the DI efforts valued at over $1B which supports future production growth within the Air Dominance Portfolio. This role provides a tremendous opportunity for a highly motivated individual to support the execution of a key area of growth within the Air Dominance portfolio. This role offers a unique experience with financial ownership over capacity improvement, yield improvement, and capital projects.

This individual will lead a team to support EACs, Financial Reporting, CDRLs, key pursuits and ad hoc tasking. An ideal individual for this role will be a strong communicator with a desire to learn, seek process improvements, efficiency opportunities, and work in a fast-paced environment. Relocation assistance is being offered, provided final candidate meets eligibility requirements.

What You Will Do

• Analyze investment EV metrics including weekly/monthly costs incurred and provide associated leading indicator guidance to program and functional leadership.
• Support the EAC process by driving functional meetings and collaborating with functional counterparts to EAC inputs are analyzed and provided on schedule.
• Coordinate & Communicate with SSBU and Program Finance teams to set expectations for EAC and forecast deliverables including flow down and deliverable timing & expectations.
• Drive the team's RPLAN updates and conduct trend analysis and communicate how program performance impacts BSEC (Bookings, Sales, Earnings, & Cash).
• Financial point of contact for Program Management and be able to provide financial guidance to IPT leads and non-finance organizations including Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations.
• Meet critical deadlines and develop reports to encourage solutions and process improvements.
• Support Ad-hoc requests as required.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelor's and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience
• Experience conducting business with various functional disciplines (ex. Contracts, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain)
• Experience with APEX, PRISM, Analysis for Office, RPLAN, EDIT+ or a similar system
• Experience with Microsoft Excel (i.e. pivot tables, advanced formulas), Word, and/or PowerPoint
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer

• Proven ability working independently and with higher levels of management in a fast-paced environment.
• The candidate should be very knowledgeable of program control responsibilities which include meeting internal requirements such as coordinating budgetary agreements, preparing EACs and monthly forecasts.
• Clear, succinct written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and inquisitive with strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Work experience in a production-oriented business.
• Ability to effectively work in a challenging and fast paced environment while multi-tasking on several different program issues concurrently.
• Ability to meet critical deadlines and develop and apply solutions and process improvements.
• Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Experience with financial planning and key metrics (Bookings, Sales, Earnings & Cash).

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
