A growing mid-size law firm is seeking a detail-oriented Billing and Communications coordinator to join the team at their headquarters in the World Trade Center, downtown Long Beach. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and enjoys problem-solving, team collaboration, and process improvement. We're looking for a Billing & Communications Coordinator to serve as a key point of contact between our firm, insurance adjusters, carriers, and clients. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication and organizational skills who can manage billing-related correspondence, follow up on outstanding items, and help keep matters moving efficiently. The right candidate is professional, detail-oriented, responsive, and comfortable communicating with multiple parties throughout the claims and billing process.

• Prior experience within a legal, accounting, or communications field
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Microsoft Excel: 1 years (Preferred)
• Communications: 1 year (Preferred)

Key Responsibilities
- Working with insurance carriers, adjusters, or legal/claims administration is a plus.
- Manage billing-related communications and coordination between clients, adjusters, internal systems and billing platforms to support matter setup, resolve rate discrepancies, track outstanding invoices, and maintain accurate billing records.
- Coordinate communications between clients, adjusters, internal systems, and billing platforms regarding matter setup, rate issues, billing inquiries, outstanding invoices, and payment follow-up while ensuring accurate account management and timely resolution of issues.
- Excel/reporting tools for tracking appeal outcomes
- Client-service orientation
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism
• Prior experience within a legal, accounting, or communications field
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Microsoft Excel: 1 years (Preferred)
• Communications: 1 year (Preferred)
