Warranty & Service Analytics Lead

Job Description SEC Energy is a single‑source provider of natural gas compression equipment, parts, and services to all segments of the oil & gas industry. From 50 to 8,000 hp, gas, electric, or dual drive, SEC is capable of designing and fabricating equipment to meet each customer’s specific operating requirements. SEC also provides production, processing, and treating equipment, and an expansive network of warehouses that service locations across the United States. SEC capabilities expand beyond traditional manufacturing to include turnkey engineering services, truck‑based service technicians, manufacturer parts, and power generation equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Analyze/Validate all Services and Warranty job costs for accuracy before invoicing and project closure Establish/Maintain dashboards for Services and Warranty departments to report financial and KPI metrics Create and maintain a system for standardizing quoting templates for all SEC Service jobs Facilitate all warranty‑related issues and direct traffic within SEC to address warranty claims Have a thorough understanding of SEC’s warranty policies, procedures, and contractual terms and conditions related to warranty for equipment sold Gather facts, data, and information necessary to make informed decisions on warranty claims Open work orders in SAP when necessary to capture costs of repairs for warranty‑related issues Create and maintain folders for each warranty job to include all information related to the issue and corrective action taken, including details on work performed, costs associated to making repairs, email correspondence, daily work reports, claims/credit memos from OEMs, and invoices to the responsible party Maintain all warranty documents/data within the Quality Issue Reporting System Coordinate corrective action plans with customers, field service area managers, and OEMs to address warranty‑related issues Understand OEM warranty policies and warranty claim procedures Submit warranty claims to OEMs and coordinate defective parts returns for warranty claim processing Maintain communication with OEMs on open warranty claims until credits are issued to SEC Follow up with accounting to verify credit memos are applied to the correct warranty jobs Receive warranty registration documentation from commissioning personnel, review for accuracy/completeness, and submit to OEMs Update technical training progression plans for each service technician as milestones are reached Maintain documentation, vehicle registrations, and element cards for the services department in support and maintenance of service vehicles; keep track of vehicle condition Maintain a clean and safe work environment Assist Service Area Managers with administrative duties as needed Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 5‑8 years in the compression manufacturing/service industry Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint) Ability to foster and maintain excellent relationships with customers, and complete understanding of the company’s warranty, products, and detailed knowledge of customer contracts Ability to determine appropriate course of action in complex situations that may not be addressed by existing policies, procedures, or protocols; decisions may include changes to policies and regulations, order in which work is done, and application of established procedures Preferred Qualifications 3‑5 years of experience in warranty administration 1‑3 years in KPI/metrics reporting Experience in Power BI software Previous experience in SAP/Oracle‑based work order management system Working Conditions Work in office, assembly and fabrication shop, and field environments Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing Exposure to adverse weather, cramped conditions, and some heavy lifting up to 50 pounds Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery; appropriate personal protective equipment required Equal Opportunity Employer Equal Opportunity Employer/Minority/Female/Disabled/Veteran Location United States – TX – HOUSTON Work Locations: Houston TX Fairbanks (100000192) 9523 Fairbanks North Houston Rd Houston 77064 Travel Yes, 10 % of the Time Job Posting Date May 22, 2026 Contact for Accommodation Requests If you need a reasonable accommodation for any part of the application process, please contact the EEO Coordinator at View phone number on click.appcast.io.
