Position Overview Postdoctoral Scholar – Biological Chemistry at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Salary range: $69,073 – $82,836. The role focuses on chemical probe development, small‑molecule screening, molecular mechanisms driving condensate formation, and drug‑resistance mechanisms in cancer. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team of chemists and biologists, learning and applying state‑of‑the‑art mass spectrometry–based chemoproteomic techniques, as well as established methods such as CRISPR‑Cas9 gene editing, high‑throughput screening, single‑cell sequencing, and immunophenotyping. The laboratory offers a supportive research environment and access to the broader UCLA community. Qualifications Basic qualifications: Recent doctorate in organic chemistry, chemical biology, biochemistry, cancer biology, cell biology, systems biology, computational biology, or related disciplines. Demonstrated ability to work in highly collaborative teams and a strong track record of innovative research contributions. Experience with organic synthesis, cell culture, molecular biology, data analysis (e.g., R or Python), and/or proteomics. Application Requirements Curriculum Vitae (most recently updated).
