Intern - Research - Inflammation Biology - AI

Gilead Sciences seeks an intern to contribute to inflammation biology research in Foster City, California. Responsibilities

• Design and execute in vitro experiments investigating signaling pathways and therapeutic targets in fibrosis
• Perform molecular and cellular biology techniques including cell culture, gene expression analysis, flow cytometry
• Support target validation and mechanism-of-action studies for novel therapeutic approaches
• Present final project results via PowerPoint presentation at internship conclusion

Requirements

• Currently enrolled full-time as undergraduate or graduate/doctoral student at accredited U.S. institution
• Minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA at application and hire
• Independent work authorization in the United States; no sponsorship required
• Ability to commit 10-12 consecutive weeks between May and August
• Willingness to work hybrid at Foster City site; relocation may be required
• Preferred: degree in molecular/cell biology, biochemistry, biology, or genetics
• Preferred: proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong problem-solving skills

Compensation: $20.00 - $55.00 hourly; benefits include paid holidays, sick time, and housing stipends for eligible employees
