Our 122,000 colleagues serve people in more than 160 countries.JOB DESCRIPTION:Project ManagerCardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) Delivery SystemsMain Purpose of the RoleLead cross-functional product development teams in the planning and execution of complex cardiovascular medical device product development projects, ensuring alignment with technical, clinical, regulatory, quality, schedule, and business objectives.Manage projects in accordance with the organization's product development and project management methodologies. Develop, maintain, and communicate project plans, timelines, budgets, resource requirements, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful execution from concept through commercialization.Drive project team alignment, facilitate decision-making, and ensure timely resolution of issues impacting project performance. Take ownership for achieving project deliverables while balancing scope, cost, schedule, quality, and regulatory requirements.Main ResponsibilitiesLead a cross-functional team responsible for a subsystem of a large-scale new product development project under the supervision of program management leaderLead key sustaining programs to maintain business supply continuity, such as supplier changes, market-released product component changes, and obsolescence.Track and trend component supply for key product development programs and manage ongoing relationships with external suppliers so that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service.Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, budgets, resource forecasts, and key performance metrics.Monitor project progress and performance against established objectives, identifying and proactively addressing risks, issues, and barriers to execution. Identify and resolve operational problems and minimize delays; escalate issues to senior management with proposed options to bring to resolution.Partner with R&D, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Marketing teams to ensure project deliverables are completed on schedule and in compliance with applicable regulatory and quality requirements.Prepare and present project status, financial performance, key risks, and recommended actions to functional or executive leadership.Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and execution excellence across project teams.EducationRequiredEducation Level: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, or related technical field ( 8 years)PreferredMaster's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or related discipline ( 6 years)PMP certification or equivalent project management certification.Experience / BackgroundRequiredMinimum 7 years of project management experience.Experience managing project scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risk.Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.PreferredExperience within the medical device, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industry.Experience managing projects involving cardiovascular catheters or associated cardiovascular delivery system products.Demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional projects through product development to global commercial release.Working knowledge of design controls, risk management, and quality system requirements.The base pay for this position is $99,300.00 – $198,700.00In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.JOB FAMILY:Project ManagementDIVISION:CRM Cardiac Rhythm ManagementLOCATION:United States > Minnesota > Minnetonka : 14900 Minnetonka Industrial RoadADDITIONAL LOCATIONS:WORK SHIFT:StandardTRAVEL:NoMEDICAL SURVEILLANCE:YesSIGNIFICANT WORK ACTIVITIES:Continuous standing for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day), Work in a clean room environmentAbbott is an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities/Women/Individuals with Disabilities/Protected Veterans.EEO is the Law link - English: is the Law link - Espanol:
