We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in the mortgage domain and hands-on experience working with APIs and system integrations . The successful candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, helping to define and deliver digital transformation initiatives in the mortgage process lifecycle.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in the mortgage domain and hands-on experience working with APIs and system integrations . The successful candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, helping to define and deliver digital transformation initiatives in the mortgage process lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements related to mortgage products (originations, servicing, underwriting, etc.).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, developers, QA, and external vendors.
- Analyze existing mortgage systems and identify areas for API integrations and automation.
- Create detailed BRDs (Business Requirements Documents) , FRDs (Functional Requirements Documents) , user stories , and use cases .
- Map API specifications (REST/SOAP), define endpoints, and assist with integration workflows between systems.
- Support API testing, data validation, and troubleshooting during development and QA phases.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clarity and alignment of project goals.
- Support UAT planning and execution; assist business users with test scenarios and defect triaging.
- Stay updated with mortgage industry trends, regulatory changes, and technology advancements.
