Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients referred by their physicians and develop individualized treatment plans based on their specific conditions and needs.
• Implement and manage comprehensive therapeutic exercise programs that include various treatment methodologies, such as manual therapy techniques, modalities, and patient education.
• Provide treatment across a range of specialties, including orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine, ensuring adaptability and thoroughness in patient care.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient progress and outcomes while adhering to all regulatory and organizational standards.
• Consult, educate, and train patients and their caregivers on at-home exercises and wellness practices to foster independence and self-management.
• Uphold a high standard of customer service within the clinic, ensuring all interactions contribute positively to the overall patient experience.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to maximize patient outcomes and refine treatment protocols to align with best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, ranging from pediatric athletes with sports injuries to elderly patients recovering from surgeries or chronic neurological conditions. The goal is to restore mobility, alleviate pain, and support patients in achieving their functional goals, enabling them to return to their daily activities with confidence and vitality.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active state license in Physical Therapy compliant with New Jersey regulations.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from a recognized provider.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on building rapport with patients and their families.
• Proficient in word processing and electronic health record systems.
• Ability to establish strong, trusting relationships with patients to facilitate their recovery and exceed specified functional goals.
• A positive attitude and genuine desire to connect with the community and foster collaborative relationships.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting is required. Candidates with a strong background or specialized training in orthopedics, pediatrics, or sports medicine will be given preference, as these specialties are a focus within our patient care strategy.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, complemented by a rich array of benefits that create a supportive employment environment.
