Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including reviewing patient history, performing specific assessments, and determining appropriate treatment recommendations while thoroughly documenting results in patient files.
• Clearly communicate evaluation findings and treatment plans to patients and their families, fostering their involvement in the goal-setting process to encourage active participation in recovery.
• Implement treatment protocols based on assessment findings, tailoring interventions to meet the specific needs of patients, adapting as necessary to align with the evolving healthcare environment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care, recognizing and documenting any changes in patient conditions that may require adjustments to the treatment plan.

• Contribute to departmental goals through active participation in meetings and strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing service delivery and patient outcomes, while also complying with all governmental and accreditation regulations.
• Pursue continuing education proactively to enhance professional growth, serving as a clinical instructor for students during their practical training.
• Foster an excellent customer experience by being adaptable and responsive to patient needs, thereby directly influencing their access to necessary care.
• Engage in initiatives aimed at improving access to care, actively participating in community outreach programs and organizational projects designed to remove barriers.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid DPT license in the State of New Jersey is required.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.

Compensation and Benefits
