Base Pay Range $120,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr Overview We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead the financial operations of our professional services firm. This role will oversee all accounting, reporting, budgeting, and compliance functions while serving as a strategic partner to leadership. Why Work Here Collaborative Culture: Work with high-caliber professionals in a supportive and team-oriented environment Strategic Impact: Influence financial strategy and decision-making at a firmwide level Work-Life Balance: Flexible schedules and generous PTO policies Career Growth: Clear path for advancement and ongoing professional development Competitive Compensation: Comprehensive benefits package, performance bonuses, and retirement plan contributions Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and billing Lead the month-end and year-end close processes and prepare financial statements Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial analysis Ensure accurate revenue recognition and compliance with GAAP Coordinate and manage external audits and tax filings Develop and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures Provide financial insights and reporting to support decision-making and performance monitoring Partner with leadership on strategic planning, pricing, and profitability analysis Supervise and mentor accounting team members Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred) 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including at least 2 years in a controller or finance leadership role Prior experience in a professional services firm is highly preferred Strong knowledge of GAAP, revenue recognition, and project-based accounting Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Deltek, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment #J-18808-Ljbffr CFS
