Summer Intern - Project Communications & Organization

About the Role We are seeking a motivated and highly organized Summer Intern to support project coordination, communications, and team collaboration activities. This role will play a key part in organizing project content, facilitating communication across teams, and managing information through digital platforms such as SharePoint and internal websites. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and enjoys working with technology and people alike. Key Responsibilities Support project meetings by reviewing recordings, summarizing key points, and identifying/assigning action items. Track and follow up on open items to ensure timely completion and accountability. Organize and maintain team content in SharePoint and other digital platforms for ease of access and version control. Help design and update internal project websites and communication pages to keep team members informed. Coordinate with diverse team members in one‑on‑one and small group settings to gather and disseminate information. Develop and share communications via social media or internal communication channels to promote project updates and engagement. Provide general support to project leadership and contribute to streamlining communication and documentation processes. Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficient with Microsoft 365 tools, including SharePoint, Teams, and OneNote; familiarity with content management systems a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with confidence in engaging across various team levels. Demonstrated ability to think through processes and recommend improvements. Interest in learning new technologies and tools to support collaboration and efficiency. Familiarity with social media tools and strategies for professional communication.
