Field Technician C

L3Harris Technologies is looking for a Field Tech in the Company's Field Services organization supporting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This role will support Boston Airspace and sites within the airspace.

Essential Functions:

• Provide technical support for each specific program/system (FTI, MS, ADS-B, DCNS, WMSS and others) L3Harris supports for the FAA.
• Install, repair, configure, test and complete preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment at the customers' remote locations.
• Able to work remotely in a scheduled and on-call capacity to various customer locations within your assigned area. Occasionally travelling to remote sites outside your assigned area may be needed from time to time to assist with the FAA customer needs and/or requests.
• Able to read/understand/follow equipment drawings and task orders.
• Possess good admin skills (taking notes and documenting what transpired while working at the customer location).
• Work directly with the NOCC, the SAC, and the Helpdesk over the phone on resolving issues in the field.
• Maintain tools, test equipment, parts/electronics, truck stock inventory and personal or company vehicle.
• Be proactive and prepared for assigned tasks prior to dispatching.
• Able to work outside regularly scheduled hours (on-call) when/if needed to meet customer's needs.
• Lift items up to 32 lbs. and use ladders and step stools to reach heights of approximately 10ft.
• Work with your supervisor (ASL) to ensure all L3Harris policies/procedures and program specific policies/procedures are followed.

Qualifications:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Obtain and maintain a DOT Public Trust Security Clearance and a DOD Secret Clearance.
• Possess and maintain a valid Driver's License and/or local US State REAL ID equivalent and a satisfactory driving record.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in the Brockton, MA area is $62,500 - $116,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
