We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at North Beach Rehabilitation Center in North Miami Beach, Florida. As a fully licensed and accredited skilled nursing and rehabilitation center, we are committed to providing high-quality care to our residents and their families. About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist Full Time, you will play a vital role in our interdisciplinary team, working closely with our residents to develop and implement personalized therapy plans. You will assess and treat residents with physical, cognitive, and emotional needs, with the goal of helping them achieve their maximum potential and regain independence. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating a plan of care that addresses each resident's unique needs and goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of residents' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs

• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team

• Provide occupational therapy services, including but not limited to:

  • ADLs (activities of daily living) training

  • Mobility and balance exercises

  • Strengthening and flexibility exercises

  • Cognitive stimulation activities

• Monitor and record resident progress, making adjustments to therapy plans as needed

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal care
