Our client, a leader in research and development within the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the Laboratory Support team supporting quality control and research initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a results-driven mindset, and excellent communication abilities.

Location: Maplewood, Minnesota (100% onsite)

Pay Range: $18 to $22 p/h on w-2

Duration: 12 month contract

What's the Job?

• Perform chemical, physical, and mechanical analyses and tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products.
• Assist with compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and documenting results of laboratory tests.
• Prepare materials for testing and execute test methods in accordance with industry standards.
• Support laboratory experiments through testing and evaluation of new materials and products based on research.
• Ensure safety and productivity through proper maintenance and preparation of test equipment.

What's Needed?

• At least one year of experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, or pilot plant environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and results orientation.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity, with the ability to lift/carry at least 25 pounds.
