Work Environment

This position is based onsite in our vibrant rehabilitation facility, where teamwork, safety, and patient comfort are paramount. Operating between Monday and Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, you will engage directly with clients in an environment designed specifically for orthopedic rehabilitation, equipped with advanced modalities, exercise equipment, and therapeutic tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' conditions, functional limitations, and goals upon their initial visit.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, utilizing a blend of manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, ensuring accurate records are maintained in our electronic health records (EHR) system to track improvements and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and nurses, to provide holistic care and ensure alignment of rehabilitation goals.
• Guide patients through home exercise programs, provide education on posture correction, and promote lifestyle modifications that facilitate recovery and long-term health.
• Uphold a safe and organized workspace by adhering to strict hygiene standards and regulatory compliance for the safety and comfort of patients.
• Stay informed on the latest trends in orthopedic physical therapy by participating in training and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with outpatient individuals dealing with a variety of orthopedic issues, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain, and orthopedic conditions such as arthritis and fractures. Each patient presents a unique set of challenges, allowing for diverse therapeutic approaches tailored to enhance their recovery experience.

Qualifications

• A current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of California.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• CPR/BLS certification is required to ensure patient safety.
• Proficient in using electronic health records and patient management software.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation is preferred, although motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy and therapeutic exercise techniques.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members.

Compensation and Benefits
