Salary Range: $75,000 - $140,000 Key Duties and Responsibilities Serve as a technical resource for construction administration and other fields. Coordinate RFIs, submittal reviews, ASIs, and IGCEs. Coordinate with other departments to respond to RFIs, submittals, IGCEs, and ASIs quickly. Facilitate departmental interactions between project DORs, design managers, QAQC, and cost estimating. Mentor other staff and offer feedback and support on skill improvement. Mentor other staff and offer advice on skill development and career progression. Attending OAC meetings and tracking construction. Conduct site inspections and write reports. Project site safety requires compliance with construction and safety laws. Check all project documentation to guarantee construction compliance. Review contract documents for constructability and report design problems to the supervisor. Monitor contract papers and constructability and report design issues to other department managers for training. Ensure project site safety by following construction and safety laws Help create department processes and training. Education and Experience The candidate should have at least five years of relevant experience in the design or construction of healthcare, medical office buildings, commercial, municipal, federal, state, and/or office buildings. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architectural degree preferred. Experience with Veterans Affairs is helpful. Licensure preferred or related certification required.
