Job Overview – Legal & Compliance Coordinator Compensation: $125,000 – $140,000/year + bonus Location: New York, NY Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office) Atlantic Group is hiring a Legal & Compliance Coordinator in New York, NY for our client, supporting legal operations, compliance administration, regulatory processes, and executive support initiatives within a growing private investment environment. This highly visible role will partner closely with legal and compliance leadership while supporting corporate governance activities, entity management, compliance tracking, and operational coordination across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring prior paralegal or legal operations experience, exceptional organizational skills, and a strong interest in building a long-term career within legal and compliance operations. Responsibilities as the Legal & Compliance Coordinator Legal Operations Support: Assist with legal documentation, corporate records management, organizational governance activities, and day-to-day legal administration support. Compliance Administration: Support AML/KYC processes, compliance tracking, regulatory documentation, internal monitoring activities, and audit preparation initiatives. Executive Coordination: Provide administrative support including scheduling, travel coordination, expense management, meeting logistics, and operational support for leadership teams. Corporate Administration: Assist with entity maintenance, organizational documentation, and related administrative support activities. Process Improvement: Support legal and compliance process enhancements, operational initiatives, and knowledge management projects while helping improve organizational workflows. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with legal, compliance, finance, operations, and external stakeholders to support departmental priorities and firmwide initiatives. Qualifications for the Legal & Compliance Coordinator Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Legal Studies, Political Science, Communications, or a related field is required. Experience: 1–2 years of experience within legal operations, paralegal support, compliance coordination, or corporate legal administration is required. Industry Knowledge: Exposure to investment management, legal operations, corporate governance, compliance processes, or regulatory administration is required. Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required. Skills & Attributes: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, organizational abilities, professionalism, discretion, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently are required.
