This position, located near Burnsville, MN, is designed for a skilled occupational therapist ready to make a positive impact as part of a dedicated school-based team. The assignment covers a leave of absence from September 21st to January 4th, with no work required during winter break and the possibility of extension.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Active OT license in good standing
• Prior experience in a school-based occupational therapy setting required
• Ability to work the school schedule for the duration of the assignment
• Successful completion of agency onboarding and district background check
• Reliable transportation to the site each day
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Preferably in good standing from previous placements, if already credentialed

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs in Setting IV special education programs
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to create and implement personalized intervention plans
• Document student progress and maintain required records according to school standards
• Employ evidence-based practices and adaptive strategies to facilitate student participation and success in school activities
