About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director for Business Development and Capture, with a focus on the Air Force Space and Intelligent Group. This high-visibility role is pivotal in driving strategy, innovation, and growth within the company's expanding portfolio of solutions and services. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the company's business development efforts, leading multi-disciplinary teams to pursue and secure key opportunities, particularly within the National Intelligence sector. Key responsibilities include championing strategic initiatives, developing winning capture strategies, collaborating across teams to create compelling solutions, shaping proposals, and engaging with customers to build trusted relationships. The role also involves pipeline management, delivering results, and monitoring the market and competitors to adapt and strengthen capture strategies. Applicants for this mission-critical position should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in capture management, business development, or related roles, supporting large government contracts, and a Bachelor's degree. A proven track record of success in capturing large-scale opportunities within the National Intelligence sector is essential, as is strong leadership experience and technical acumen in areas such as mission systems integration, IT modernization, cloud computing, and systems engineering. The role requires a candidate with the ability to think strategically, develop innovative capture strategies, and ensure alignment with the company's mission and strategic objectives. Preferred qualifications include comprehensive knowledge of procurement processes, experience with various contract types, and expertise in engineering and SETA type contracts in the Intel Space environment.
