Senior Fund Accountant

Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr Our client is a leading investment management firm. They seek a Senior Fund Accountant to join their Los Angeles, CA office. This opportunity offers a hybrid work schedule and competitive salary and benefits. Responsibilities Prepare the books and records of private investment funds Handle the accounting for and reconciliation of cash and investments Record and reconcile purchase and sale transactions Manage the accounting for complex corporate actions Estimate and post monthly closing accruals Calculate income and expense allocations to each partner Assess and prepare distributions and draw-downs Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to clients Analyze performance metrics for partnerships and accounts Work with auditors, custodians, prime brokers, and fund administrators Requirements 3+ years of accounting experience Combo with Big 4 accounting background CPA strongly preferred Skilled in Advent and Geneva preferred Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Accounting/Auditing Industries Investment Management #J-18808-Ljbffr Abacus Group, LLC
