Assistant/Associate or Professor of Clinical Pathology (Transfusion Medicine) (CHLA)

Role Overview Full‑time faculty member – Transfusion Medicine physician with research, clinical service, and teaching responsibilities at the Keck School of Medicine and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Open‑rank position with salary commensurate with qualifications. Responsibilities Provide Transfusion Medicine and Apheresis consults and procedures. Perform blood bank and blood donor center physician coverage. Collaborate on translational research with the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Hematology/Oncology, and the Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases. Participate in educational activities, including teaching and mentorship of trainees. Qualifications MD, MD/PhD, or DO degree. CA medical license upon hire. American Board of Pathology certification or eligibility in Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine, or significant clinical experience in transfusion medicine. Demonstrated excellence in clinical care, translational research, and education. Benefits and Compensation Annual base salary range: $250,000 to $400,000. Strong administrative, clinical, research, and financial support will be provided, including staff, infrastructure, endowments, and institutional resources.
