Bright Minds Crisis Intervention Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist, including LMFT, LPC, or LCSW, to join our remote outpatient team. In this full-time role, you will focus on delivering specialized mental health counseling to individuals affected by trauma, with a strong emphasis on creating resilience and recovery pathways for our clients.

Work Environment\n

This position will allow you to work remotely while being part of an outpatient team that prioritizes teamwork and collaboration. Our practice is structured to align with the needs of our clients, which may involve some flexibility in your schedule. The standard work hours will be Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, but adjustments can be made based on the clinical requirements and patient scheduling.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories effectively.

• Design and execute tailored treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building techniques.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and promote holistic healing.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of all patients.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and the resources available to them.
\n
• Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical guidelines.
\n
• Participate in team meetings and case consultations, sharing insights and strategies to enhance trauma-informed care delivery.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices related to trauma therapy, applying this knowledge to clinical practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals who have experienced varying levels of trauma, including children, adolescents, and adults dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and various dissociative disorders. Our patients are seeking guidance and support in their journey toward recovery, and you will play a pivotal role in crafting effective therapeutic relationships built on trust and respect.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Georgia.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and experience employing trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate compassionately and effectively.

• A calm and composed demeanor in high-stress situations, ensuring the safety and emotional comfort of clients during therapy.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with technology used in remote therapy settings.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we value varied professional backgrounds and approaches. Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and working within a multidisciplinary team is advantageous as it contributes to a holistic patient care model.

Compensation and Benefits\n
