Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and highly specialized educational programming for students with intellectual disabilities and significant behavioral, social-emotional, communication, and adaptive needs.
• Oversee a classroom with a minimum of two trained adults present at all times to ensure ongoing supervision and support.
• Serve as both the instructional leader and behavioral lead, developing and implementing individualized behavior interventions.
• Coordinate staff, supervise classroom team members, and ensure collaborative engagement with families and multidisciplinary professionals to foster positive student outcomes.
• Maintain detailed documentation, support data-driven decision making, and contribute to IEP meetings and program development.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment tailored to each student’s unique strengths and requirements.

Ideal Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher licensure and experience with students requiring intensive support.
• Strong background in life skills education, behavioral interventions, and collaboration with related service providers.
