This opportunity focuses on Life Skills Education within an Intensive Services Program, specifically designed for one to two students per classroom. As the instructional and behavioral leader, you'll coordinate specialized educational and behavioral programs, supervise support staff, and ensure effective collaboration with families and a multidisciplinary team to foster meaningful student progress.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching license appropriate for K-12 settings
• Previous experience working with students with significant intellectual, behavioral, or adaptive needs
• Expertise in delivering individualized instruction and implementing behavior intervention strategies
• Comfort with highly structured, self-contained classroom environments
• Strong organizational and communication skills for positive family and team collaboration
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth in evidence-based instructional and behavioral practices

Major Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction and tailor educational programming to each student's strengths and needs
• Provide intensive behavioral support and continuous supervision alongside two trained adults at all times
• Lead the classroom team in implementing individualized education plans and data-driven interventions
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
• Supervise and mentor classroom support staff, ensuring high-quality adult-student interactions
• Maintain documentation and progress monitoring consistent with program standards
