10+ years of progressive payroll leadership within large, complex organization Hands-on experience with Oracle Payroll (Oracle Fusion Payroll/ Oracle Payroll Cloud) & supporting Oracle post-go-live (quarterly testing, enhancement requests, troubleshooting, payroll validation, system optimization) Strong payroll operations background with experience leading payroll teams. Nice To Haves Shared Services environment Payroll process improvement & automation Payroll accounting/GL reconciliation Healthcare experience strongly preferred Job Description The ideal candidate has served as the payroll operational lead following an Oracle Payroll implementation and has been actively involved in testing, enhancement requests, troubleshooting, and ongoing system optimization while leading enterprise payroll operations. Key Responsibilities Lead enterprise-wide payroll operations across a complex, multi-state healthcare organization. Provide strategic leadership to a payroll organization consisting of 2 Payroll Managers and approximately 40 indirect team members. Serve as the business leader for Oracle Payroll, partnering with HR, Finance, and IT to support ongoing system optimization. Lead post-go-live Oracle Payroll activities, including quarterly release testing, payroll validation, troubleshooting, and enhancement efforts. Drive payroll process improvements, operational efficiencies, and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing across multiple payroll cycles. Partner with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, reporting, and system functionality. Support the transition of additional payroll functions back in-house as the organization continues to mature its Oracle environment. 10+ years of progressive payroll leadership experience within a large, complex organization. Hands-on Oracle Payroll experience is required. Demonstrated experience supporting Oracle Payroll after implementation, including: Quarterly release testing Troubleshooting Payroll validation Post-go-live optimization Experience serving as the Payroll business lead or Payroll SME working alongside HRIS and IT teams. Multi-state payroll leadership experience. Experience leading payroll teams within a shared services or enterprise environment. Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, payroll accounting, and payroll operations. Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred. Experience with Oracle Fusion Payroll and Oracle HCM.
