Director of Payroll

Seeking an experienced Director, Payroll to lead enterprise payroll operations for a large, multi-state healthcare organization supporting approximately 55,000 employees nationwide. This leader will oversee payroll operations while serving as the functional payroll expert for Oracle Payroll, partnering closely with HR, Finance, and IT to optimize system performance and drive continuous improvement. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll leader who enjoys balancing operational excellence with systems optimization in a highly visible leadership role Key Responsibiliti esLead enterprise-wide payroll operations across a complex, multi-state healthcare organizatio n.Provide strategic leadership to a payroll organization consisting of 2 Payroll Managers and approximately 40 indirect team member s.Serve as the business leader for Oracle Payroll, partnering with HR, Finance, and IT to support ongoing system optimizatio n.Lead post-go-live Oracle Payroll activities, including quarterly release testing, payroll validation, troubleshooting, and enhancement effort s.Drive payroll process improvements, operational efficiencies, and continuous improvement initiative s.Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing across multiple payroll cycle s.Partner with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, reporting, and system functionalit y.Support the transition of additional payroll functions back in-house as the organization continues to mature its Oracle environmen Required Qualificati ons10+ years of progressive payroll leadership experience within a large, complex organizati on.Hands-on Oracle Payroll experience is requir ed.Demonstrated experience supporting Oracle Payroll after implementation, includi ng:Quarterly release test ntsTroubleshoot ingPayroll validat ionPost-go-live optimizat ionExperience serving as the Payroll business lead or Payroll SME working alongside HRIS and IT tea ms.Multi-state payroll leadership experien ce.Experience leading payroll teams within a shared services or enterprise environme nt.Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, payroll accounting, and payroll operatio Preferred Qualificati onsHealthcare industry experience strongly preferr ed.Experience with Oracle Fusion Payroll and Oracle H CM.Experience supporting payroll system optimization and continuous improvement initiativ es.Experience with payroll process automation and operational transformati #J-18808-Ljbffr
