Position Summary


We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Accountant to join our growing team. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the month-end close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and overall accounting operations. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with leadership, improve processes, and contribute to strategic financial initiatives.


Responsibilities

• Lead and assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Analyze financial statements and ensure accuracy of financial reporting
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Support external audits and coordinate with auditors as needed
• Monitor compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiencies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial and operational objectives
• Assist with special projects, system implementations, and ad hoc reporting requests

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
• Experience with financial statement preparation and general ledger accounting
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP systems
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• CPA designation or CPA-track preferred
