Job Description
As a Security Officer - Overnight Hospital Intake Screening in Poway CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
- Screen visitors patients staff and/or vendors at designated entry points while verifying access requirements and directing individuals to the appropriate area.
- Respond to incidents unusual activity and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and report relevant details according to site protocols.
- Monitor entrances lobbies and/or other assigned areas to help support an orderly environment and help to deter unauthorized access.
- Communicate with staff guests and/or emergency personnel regarding screening expectations access concerns and other security-related matters.
Minimum Requirements:
- This position is located in a hospital morgue environment.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Handcuffing certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
