Clinical Sales Specialist, Electrophysiology - LAA (North LA / Inland LA)

Job Overview The Clinical Specialist supports Abbott’s Stroke Prevention portfolio (AmplatzerTM, AmuletTM, and LAA Occluder) by providing clinical and sales support to interventional cardiologists, catheter lab staff, and ancillary personnel. The role focuses on training, troubleshooting, and educating customers on product use, as well as supplying market and clinical data to help shape marketing strategies. Responsibilities Collaborate with Territory Managers to provide comprehensive case coverage and achieve strong clinical outcomes for patients. Serve as the primary resource for clinical support, covering procedures, troubleshooting, and in‑service education on company products. Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products. Inform customers of the latest product, therapy, and technology developments in the industry. Actively engage in clinical, procedural, and technical discussions, linking data outcomes to key messaging. Meet with existing and potential clients (health‑care providers) to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints, and provide creative and feasible solutions. Required Qualifications BS/BA or equivalent experience. 6+ years of related cardiovascular work experience. Verification and satisfaction of all vendor credentialing requirements, including COVID‑19 vaccination if applicable. Ability to provide medical or religious accommodation upon request and communicate with HR as needed. Preferred Qualifications Degree in life sciences or medical training (RN, EMT, Perfusion, etc.). Strong clinical orientation and experience with products used in interventional cardiology and cardiac surgery. Familiarity with echocardiography and other indirect imaging modalities. Additional Information Salary: $61,300.00 – $122,700.00 (may vary by location). Travel: Yes, 50% of the time. Medical oversight: Yes. Location: United States – California (Remote).
