Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg

Location: Fort Mill, South Carolina (Onsite) Work Type: Full-Time Positions: Multiple Experience Required: 1 – 5 Years

Shift Details

Shift: As per Med Surg department schedule Full-Time Hours

The Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to patients with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions. This role involves monitoring patient status, administering medications, and responding to emergency situations while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

The RN will follow clinical standards, ensure patient safety, and provide education to patients and families.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Clinical Excellence

Develop and document patient care plans within required timelines Perform patient interventions with age-specific competency Provide comprehensive nursing care in Med Surg settings

Clinical Monitoring & Intervention

Monitor patient condition and respond to changes Provide appropriate treatment in emergency situations Administer medications and IV therapy as per protocols Monitor for adverse drug reactions

Care Coordination

Verify physician orders, medications, and procedures Coordinate diagnostic tests and treatment plans Ensure accurate documentation and compliance

Compliance & Patient Safety

Follow hospital protocols and safety standards Maintain compliance with medication administration guidelines Ensure proper patient identification and documentation

Must-Have Qualifications

Associate Degree in Nursing (Required) Active RN License (South Carolina or Compact State) BLS Certification (AHA – Required) Basic Rhythm Certification (within orientation) Strong clinical and patient care skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Med Surg / Acute Care Experience in hospital-based settings Strong patient care and multitasking skills
