Builtech is currently seeking an Estimator to join our preconstruction team. Responsibilities Process RFP, RFQ, and internal pricing requests and facilitate broadcast announcements of bidding opportunity. Analyze drawings and specifications. Understand contractual terms and conditions. Competently draft, proof, audit, and deliver proposals. Work with Project and Marketing staff coordinating contributions from all into proposals. Solicit and engage subcontractors to provide proposals. Qualify subcontractor proposals for completeness and compliance with project documents. Ensure Builtech's compliance with bidding regulations and goals for each project. Develop, prepare, coordinate, and execute presentations and proposals to existing or new clients. Maintain relationships with clients and subcontractors. Work on multiple bids simultaneously and deliver in accordance with deadline objectives. Identify & execute strategic opportunities to optimize Builtech's position in securing work. Requuirements Ideally 3-6 years of construction experience Embrace and fully protect our Core Values - Integrity, Humility, Trust, Respect, Passion & Courage. Experience with internet-based bidding sites is preferred (Building Connected, Gradebeam, SmartBid, etc) Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word and BlueBeam Effective communication and ability to work independently. Must be able to multitask; handling many diverse projects at once while meeting deadlines. Ability to remain in a stationary position 95% of the time. The ability to constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as computer keyboards, copy machines, and computer printers. The ability to occasionally lift and carry lightweight office items like supplies or equipment. Valid driver's license.
