Multimodality Technologist II

Job Summary Performs CT scan and radiographic exams. Produces computerized tomographic scans and radiographs of designated anatomical areas as directed, according to established practices and procedures. Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures and addresses patient concerns. Responsibilities Perform CT scan and radiographic exams. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Completed an AMA approved school of radiological technology and registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT). Licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA). Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a registered Radiological Technologist and in Computed Tomography. Certification in modality area post radiology certification. AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification. Physical Requirements Ability to perform job functions while standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, working indoors/outside, working from elevated areas, confined spaces, kneeling positions, bending at the waist, twisting, squatting, pinching, gross motor activities with fingers and hands, firm grasping, fine manipulation, reaching overhead, repetitive motions with hands/wrists/elbows and shoulders, using both legs, maintaining balance and coordination, reaching in all directions. Lift and carry 50 lbs. unassisted; lift/lower objects 50 lbs. from/to floor 36 inches unassisted; lift from 36" to overhead 25 lbs.; exert up to 50 lbs. of force. Maintain 20/40 vision, corrected, in one eye or both. Maintain hearing acuity, with correction. Deal effectively with stressful situations. Work rotating shifts, overtime as required, in a latex safe environment; respirator use if required. Schedule Wednesday‑Friday 6:30 a.m. – 7 p.m. with on‑call rotation.
