Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for clients, focusing on pre-crisis and crisis interventions, positive behavior support, and risk assessments.

• Ensure timely completion of all required documentation in compliance with regulatory standards, utilizing various electronic health record systems to maintain accurate clinical records.

• Utilize evidence-based screening tools as per the guidelines set forth by our clinical team, analyzing the gathered data to enhance treatment efficacy.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams by contributing to the creation and implementation of positive behavior support plans that align with our holistic care philosophy.

• Participate actively in licensing and accreditation processes, representing the clinic in various state and local meetings to ensure compliance and quality improvements.

• Serve as a liaison with state agencies, community partners, and relevant service systems to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.

• Establish and nurture effective lines of communication across the organization and with external partners to promote our mission and achieve contract standards.

• Pursue continuous professional development through attending conferences, workshops, and task forces related to mental health counseling.

• Advocate for the incorporation of the agency’s mission and values into everyday practices while engaging in community outreach to spread awareness of mental health issues.

• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Clinic Director to support the clinic’s strategic goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population facing a range of mental health challenges. This includes individuals dealing with emotional distress, those recovering from substance use, and clients with developmental disabilities. Your role will focus on building therapeutic relationships that enhance clients’ self-esteem, stability, and resilience, while facilitating access to vital resources and support within the community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling is mandatory.

• An independent LMHC license from the relevant state board is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
