Assistant Practice Manager at Prestigious Eye & Aesthetic Practice Job Description We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and motivated Assistant Practice Manager to join our growing eye and aesthetic practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both patient interaction and practice operations and wants to play a key role in helping build and grow a premier medical practice. Position Overview As the Assistant Practice Manager, you will work directly with the physician to oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice. This is a hands-on position requiring a professional who is comfortable managing front desk responsibilities, assisting with patient care coordination, supporting administrative functions, and helping implement systems and processes that will facilitate future growth. As we are currently a single-provider practice , there are no staff members to supervise at this time. However, as the practice expands, this role may evolve into a leadership position with responsibility for training, managing, and supervising future team members. Responsibilities Manage front desk operations, including patient scheduling, registration, check-in, and check-out Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming patient experience Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and coordinate appointments Assist with insurance verification, authorizations, and medical billing processes Maintain accurate patient records and ensure administrative efficiency Assist with social media, marketing, and patient outreach initiatives Coordinate vendors, supplies, and office operations Develop and implement systems and procedures to support practice growth Identify opportunities to improve workflow and patient satisfaction Assist with special projects and business development initiatives Provide occasional weekend coverage as needed Qualifications Previous experience in a medical office, healthcare administration, or practice management role Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly Knowledge of medical billing, insurance verification, and front desk operations preferred Self-starter with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills Professional appearance and excellent communication skills Social media and marketing experience is a plus Desire to learn, grow, and contribute to the long-term success of the practice Bachelor's degree preferred Healthcare management experience: 2 years (Required) Job Details Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Friday with occasional weekends as needed Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Work Location: In person If you are a motivated professional looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact and grow with an expanding eye and aesthetic practice, we would love to hear from you.
