Full Charge Bookkeeper

Will work on small and mid-sized companies in various industries Utilize Quickbooks with the ability to train clients Utilize Quickbooks payroll modules to input payroll data Prepare bank, credit card and payroll reconciliations Handle routine client questions and work with clients to obtain necessary information for completion of bookkeeping Prepare journal entries for month and year end close Prepare quarterly and annual payroll tax returns Prepare sales tax returns Respond to IRS and State correspondence Utilize various software in a paperless office environment Full Charge Quickbooks Bookkeeper Will work on small and mid-sized companies in various industries Utilize Quickbooks with the ability to train clients Utilize Quickbooks payroll modules to input payroll data Troubleshoot clients Quickbooks questions Prepare bank, credit card and payroll reconciliations Handle routine client questions and work with clients to obtain necessary information for completion of bookkeeping Prepare journal entries for month and year end close Prepare quarterly and annual payroll tax returns Prepare sales tax returns Respond to IRS and State correspondence Utilize various software in a paperless office environment Responsibilities and duties: 3+ years of full charge bookkeeping experience A solid understanding of accounting Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Willingness and ability to work extra hours during tax season Solid knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook Proficient with Quickbooks both desktop and Online Energized professional with willingness to learn new tasks Excellent communication skills to work with clients and your team Prior position with a CPA firm preferred Tax preparation experience a plus Login to save this search and get notified of similar positions.
