The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining production machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures. This role ensures the efficient and safe production of products by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and making necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and machine performance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and installing raw materials or products for processing and palletizing.
• Operating paper converting machines and supporting the production line.
• Conducting quality checks and inspecting parts to ensure they meet specifications.
• Perform checks and minor repairs to minimize downtime.
• Collaborating with the shift team to meet production goals and maintain a safe work environment.
• Maintaining accurate records of production output and machine performance.
• Consistently demonstrate safe work practices and promote a culture of safety among team members.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Conduct pre-operation safety checks and ensure equipment is in safe working condition before use.
• Review and interpret the Work Order to determine machine setup requirements.
• Prepare and install machine components and raw materials according to specifications.
• Perform mechanical adjustments to optimize machine performance and product quality.
• Operate machines to produce products within defined specifications, tolerances, and production targets.
• Use precision measuring tools to inspect finished products for quality compliance.
• Identify and report any defects or deviations from standards.
• Maintain accurate production counts and ensure all output meets quality expectations.
• Complete daily production logs, including quantities produced, machine performance, and any errors or rejected items.
• Organize and maintain all production-related paperwork in accordance with company standards.
• Communicate production status and completion to supervisors and prepare machines for subsequent runs.
• Identify and verify components listed in the production order.
• Properly remove and label leftover components for return to inventory.
• Load new components for the next production run and confirm set-up accuracy.
• Ensure all materials are stored and handled safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members across shifts to ensure smooth transitions and continuity in production.
• Communicate any issues, delays, or improvements to managers and team leaders.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Keep machines, workstations, and surrounding areas clean, organized, and well-maintained.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
