Job Overview Transcript Unit Analyst II (JC-520804) – Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation (CDCR). This role is located in downtown Sacramento and is eligible for hybrid telework in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy. Salary ranges from $6,031.00 to $7,547.00 per month for New‑to‑State candidates. Responsibilities Work under direct supervision to manage tasks related to the BPH transcript unit, responsible for producing written transcripts of all parole proceedings. Lead a team responsible for proofreading, editing, coordinating, reviewing, auditing, and analyzing transcripts to meet strict deadlines. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality of all transcripts and related documentation. Collaborate with other units and stakeholders to obtain necessary information and resolve discrepancies. Assist in implementing and monitoring new automated systems for transcript production. Qualifications Experience with transcription, proofreading, editing of legal or parole documents. Knowledge of parole procedures and BPH (Board of Parole Hearings) operations. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Ability to work independently and coordinate across teams. Preferred: Experience managing projects and using collaboration platforms such as SharePoint.
