Associate Scientist, Data II

Associate Scientist, Data II role focused on transforming pharmaceutical document management through AI and automation. The position involves developing intelligent solutions that leverage machine learning, large language models, and modern data technologies to streamline document workflows, improve quality control, and enhance operational efficiency across the organization.

Responsibilities Partner with document management, regulatory, quality, and scientific teams to identify AI-driven process improvement opportunities Design and deploy solutions for automated content authoring, summarization, metadata extraction, and compliance reviews Build and maintain data pipelines, integrations, APIs, and knowledge management frameworks connecting enterprise systems Develop machine learning and generative AI solutions including LLMs, RAG, and agentic workflows for document lifecycle management Create scalable tools, applications, and user interfaces enabling business users to leverage AI and automation capabilities Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related quantitative field Strong Python programming skills and production-grade data/AI application development experience Experience designing data architectures, APIs, and cloud-based applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, vector databases, and document intelligence solutions Understanding of software engineering principles, system integration, data governance, and scalable application development Familiarity with enterprise content management systems, document repositories, or workflow automation technologies Preferred: pharmaceutical, biotechnology, regulatory, or scientific documentation process knowledge
