As a member of our outpatient counseling team, you will conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your own home while utilizing teletherapy platforms. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental and emotional well-being, identifying their unique needs, issues, and therapeutic goals.

• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans using therapeutic techniques including engagement, planning, and evaluation tailored to each client.

• Facilitate individual and couples therapy sessions that target a wide variety of mental health concerns, specifically designed to help clients improve their communication skills and resolve conflicts.

• Regularly review and adjust treatment strategies based on client progress and feedback, ensuring adaptability to their evolving needs.

• Maintain accurate client records, documenting sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with all regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care tailored to individual client needs.

• Engage in crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute distress, providing immediate support and appropriate referrals as needed.

• Stay informed of the latest research, techniques, and best practices in marriage and family therapy, participating in relevant training and professional development.

• Encourage clients to engage in active self-care practices and provide support in accessing additional resources or services as required.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Marriage and Family Therapist at Navigate, you will work with a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing various mental health issues. Your expertise will support clients dealing with relationship conflicts, anxiety, depression, trauma, and other challenges, contributing to their emotional resilience and overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the State Board is essential.

• Experience providing therapy to individuals and/or couples is preferred.
\n
• Skills in completing client assessments and maintaining therapy documentation promptly and accurately.

• Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, for effective client engagement.
