Transportation Specialist

Cencora seeks a Transportation Specialist to analyze and optimize transportation processes across parcel, LTL, and FTL shipments. The role involves monitoring carrier performance, managing logistics KPIs, resolving delivery issues, and implementing cost-reduction strategies across the national transportation network.
Responsibilities
- Monitor shipment statuses and resolve carrier and delivery-related issues daily
- Develop and maintain KPI dashboards for transportation performance analysis
- Audit carrier invoices against contract terms and approve payments
- Conduct rate and service analyses for small package and LTL shipments weekly
- Lead carrier onboarding, RFP preparation, and quarterly business review activities
Requirements
- Proficiency with transportation management systems (TMS, WMS, SAP, PKMS)
- Experience analyzing freight characteristics and carrier performance metrics
- Ability to develop standard operating procedures and process documentation
- Strong data analysis and dashboard development skills
- Experience managing carrier contracts and invoice auditing
- Knowledge of parcel, LTL, and FTL shipping modes
