Pediatric Nurse Practitioner OpportunityReputable Community Healthcare Clinic is hiring a full and/or part time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner!Join an organization which is respected and well loved by the Community we serve!What you will do at AMC:Provide care to children from birth through young adult with an in-depth knowledge and experience in pediatric primary health care including well child care and prevention/management of common pediatric acute illnesses and chronic conditions.Meets the specialized healthcare needs of individuals from birth through young adulthood, including physical, psychological, and social concerns of children in the areas of health maintenance and promotion, and assessment and management of disease processes.Performs therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suture removal and wound care, and managing infection.Develops and implements patient management plans, records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care.Assists in medical chart review for patient follow-up and quality assurance.Instructs and counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional problems of daily living, and health maintenance.Maintains adequate medical records on all patients, including follow-up referrals, and meet on a regular basis with the physician to go over charting and/or medical care provided.Adheres to health center standards for productivity as defined by the Chief Medical Officer and senior management.Participates in quality improvement initiatives.Requirements:Completion of an accredited PNP specialty program3+ years of PNP Clinical ExperienceBilingual (Spanish/English) Preferred but not requiredEMR experience and will train, EPIC experience a plus!Current California RN and Nurse Practitioner license including DEA license and current CPRNational Certification as a Primary Care Pediatric Nurse PractitionerA passion for community-based healthcare!
