You will support schools located in the Florissant and St. Louis area, providing crucial leave coverage for at least one confirmed FMLA, with the potential to work across multiple sites within the semester.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Missouri LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker)
• Experience in a school-based setting, preferably with SPED (Special Education) populations
• Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and work effectively within diverse school communities
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Compliance with time-sensitive credentialing, including district technology form completion and fingerprinting requirements

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Deliver direct counseling services and support to students, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, administrators, and SPED professionals
• Conduct social work assessments and crisis interventions as needed
• Maintain accurate student records in line with district and legal requirements
• Contribute to the development and implementation of IEPs for students receiving special education services
• Provide consultation and training to staff and families, enhancing student support strategies
