Location: Evansville, IN (Midtown Campus) Specialty: Observation / Med-Surg RN Shift: Days | 3x12s (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) Contract: 13 Weeks Requirements: ✅ Active Compact RN License ✅ AHA BLS & NIHSS required ✅ Minimum 2 years of strong Med-Surg experience ✅ At least 1 previous travel assignment ✅ Recent EPIC experience required Required Skills: Cardiac cath recovery (Femoral & TR Bands) Post-operative patient care NIHSS & neurological assessments Dysphagia screening Titration of Heparin & Insulin drips NG tube insertion Foley & straight catheter care Drain management Blood administration and documentation Patient Population: Chest pain & cardiac observation CVA/TIA Syncope & dizziness Shortness of breath GI & Urology pre/post procedures Post-surgical patients AKI Cellulitis Detox/CIWA Highlights: 23-bed Observation/Med-Surg unit 36 guaranteed hours (48-hour contracts available upon request) Traveler-friendly unit with excellent teamwork Experienced leadership with outstanding staff retention Every other holiday & 3 weekends every 6 weeks Floating within your skill set to nearby affiliated campuses as needed Navy blue scrubs Interested?
