Recruiter
ICON
ICON is at an inflection point - scaling hiring across manufacturing, software, robotics, and construction while rebuilding recruiting around the discipline of the best search firms in the world. We are looking for a Full Cycle Recruiter to be a driving force behind that build: a recruiter who owns searches end-to-end and closes the talent that determines what ICON becomes. This is a general-interest posting - we are always looking to meet exceptional full-cycle recruiters. This is a role for a closer. You will own your requisitions from first search to signed offer - setting the req strategy, running the market, sourcing and assessing talent independently, and guiding candidates through a high-stakes decision - with the autonomy of a search professional and a senior TA Partner as your strategic sounding board, not your supervisor. You'll wield the latest AI to compress the workflow and move faster than any team you've been on, and help shape the playbook a fast-growing recruiting org will run on. If you thrive in high-growth environments and want your name on the hires that build the future of construction, this is that seat. As part of a small, high-caliber team, you will advance humankind's ability to deliver dignified, affordable, resilient, and sustainable shelter. This is an on-site role based at our Austin, TX HQ Campus. RESPONSIBILITIES Own assigned requisitions end-to-end, partnering with a TA Partner on strategy and success criteria, then executing autonomously from search through offer. Set and run the req-level search strategy — channels, target companies, outreach, and messaging — and adapt it as the market responds. Document sourcing plans with clear deliverables, timelines, and metrics, and maintain data hygiene and process standards from the CoE playbook. Requisition Ownership & Search Execution Source and engage passive candidates independently across platforms and networks; the role is self-sufficient on sourcing, with no dedicated Sourcer attached. Conduct in-depth screens assessing qualifications, motivations, and fit. Prepare candidate summaries and scorecards, and present them to the TA Partner with clear rationale. Candidate Experience & Stakeholder Partnership Manage candidate relationships across the full lifecycle and own candidate experience through offer. Synthesize candidate feedback and market signals into insights for the TA Partner, and bring problems with proposed solutions. Support business relationship management at the TA Partner's direction, coordinating with hiring leaders and Total Rewards on offers. Use AI to compress the workflow — screen prep, summary and scorecard drafting, candidate research, and interview scheduling. Provide guidance to Sourcing Recruiters on shared searches. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience — in-house, agency, or executive search — including independent ownership of requisitions from sourcing through offer. Demonstrated self-sufficiency sourcing passive candidates without dedicated sourcing support. Strong candidate assessment skills and a track record of presenting calibrated slates with clear rationale. Proficiency with an applicant tracking system and modern sourcing platforms. Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 8+ years of experience with search-firm or executive-search training and methodology. Experience recruiting technical or specialized roles — engineering, software, robotics, skilled trades, or construction / AEC. Hands-on use of AI recruiting tooling for screening, scorecards, and scheduling. Experience operating within a structured recruiting playbook or Center of Excellence model.
